DMEGC Solar
DMEGC solar modules come from the photovoltaic division of a publicly traded industrial group. Behind the brand is Hengdian Group DMEGC Magnetics, listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 2006. The company began with magnetic materials for the electrical industry and only entered solar panel manufacturing around 2010.

Glass-glass modules from DMEGC for roofs and open spaces
Today, the manufacturer ranks among the ten largest module producers worldwide in terms of delivery volume. The scale of this production is demonstrated by its six factories, five in China and one in Indonesia. Annual capacity is approximately 23 GW of solar cells and 21 GW of finished modules.
How important is this figure to you as a buyer? The number itself is less important than what it represents: a level of vertical integration that makes quality fluctuations less likely. Cells and modules are produced within the same group, which clarifies responsibility in the event of complaints.
PV-24 offers a 465 Wp double-glass module in a full-black finish from this program. Further DMEGC solar modules will follow as needed. The photovoltaic module category also includes Trina Solar, JA Solar, Aiko, and LONGi. The same design from other manufacturers is listed under glass-glass modules.
Stable yield in heat, snow and diffuse light
Two 2,0 mm thick panes of glass enclose the cells of the DMEGC module on both sides. Moisture penetrates less easily than through a plastic backsheet, which can become brittle over decades.
The module can withstand 5400 Pa snow load and 2400 Pa wind pressure , which is not a theoretical value in the Alpine region.
On a roof at an altitude of 1.200 meters, snow can sometimes remain for weeks. It is precisely there that the mechanical reserve determines whether microcracks develop in the cells after winter. Such damage only becomes visible over the years, namely through the gradual loss of yield from individual modules.
The monocrystalline cells are contacted via 16 busbars. The more conductors carrying the current, the shorter the paths within the cell and the lower the resistance losses, especially in low light conditions during autumn. DMEGC's black design blends seamlessly into the roofscape; comparable aesthetics from other manufacturers can be found under "Full Black Modules".
From private systems to commercial roofs with DMEGC Solar
Measuring 1762 x 1134 mm and weighing 24,0 kg, the module is manageable; two people can easily lift it onto the roof without any tools. This translates to short installation times for homeowners. When it's time to install, you'll find the necessary rails, clamps, and roof hooks included in the substructure.
On commercial roofs, a different metric is more important. Since DMEGC modules are designed for a 1500 V system voltage, longer strings can be formed, reducing cabling and the number of string inputs. At 465 Wp per module, 22 modules yield just over 10 kWp. Once several hundred modules are installed, this advantage has a noticeable impact on material costs.
The price is the same in both cases. In Austria, as in Germany, solar modules for private installations are exempt from VAT, which is why the price shown per unit is the final price. The MC4 Evo 2A connector and 1,2 m connection cable conform to the common standard, so an adapter is rarely needed.
Warranty and performance degradation of DMEGC modules
Every solar module loses power during operation. The decline is somewhat more pronounced in the first year, but after that, it is less than half a percent per year for modern cells. Double-glazed modules age more slowly than glass-foil modules. The enclosed cells are exposed to less moisture and less mechanical movement.
The DMEGC module listed with us comes with a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year performance warranty. However, such timeframes are only as reliable as the manufacturer behind them.
Will the manufacturer still guarantee a replacement delivery in 2050? A publicly traded corporation with factories on two continents is a different beast in this regard than a supplier without its own production facilities. This isn't a guarantee, but it's a difference you should consider when comparing prices.
However, let's do the math realistically: Over 30 years, according to typical warranty curves, well over 80% of the initial output remains. How DMEGC modules compare to Trina, JA Solar, or Aiko depends less on the brand than on the cell generation used in the respective module.
Advice on module selection directly from the Zillertal
Before you order, we'll clarify three things by phone or chat: available roof area, desired system size, and the existing inverter. This will determine the number of modules per string. Only then can we be sure whether DMEGC solar modules are the right choice for your project or if another brand would be a better fit.
We calculate larger quantities separately. Electrical contractors and installers should send us the quantity and their desired delivery date, and we will then send them a quote with tiered pricing. Modules are shipped via freight carrier; we will schedule the delivery with you in advance.
Payment is protected through Trusted Shops; in case of a complaint, we will handle the correspondence with DMEGC. Collection from our warehouse in Zell am Ziller is possible by arrangement , which saves on shipping costs for modules.
