While no one really plans for such a situation, the technical option of an independent backup power supply provides an unexpected level of peace of mind. Both the GEN24 plus and the new Verto Plus series can be easily and conveniently upgraded with the Fronius Backup Controller at any time. With this automatically switching unit, all essential appliances are quickly reconnected to the grid in the event of a power outage. For those who find 3 kW of emergency power from the Fronius PV Point insufficient.
