The Fronius GEN24 PV Point Comfort is a retrofit module for Fronius GEN24 and GEN24 Plus inverters that significantly enhances the convenience of the integrated basic emergency power function. Instead of only being active in emergencies, the PV Point Comfort continuously supplies a fused socket or a small circuit – both in grid-connected operation and during a power outage.

With up to 3 kW of continuous power in emergency mode, it is ideally suited for essential appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, or alarm systems. Retrofitting is simple and takes place directly in the inverter – a practical upgrade for greater reliability and convenience in your PV system.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

The PV Point is a straightforward and cost-effective emergency power solution for all devices in the Fronius GEN24 series with a connected load of up to 3 kW. Previously, the 1-phase connection only started when the mains supply failed. With the hardware upgrade to PV Point Comfort, the connection is now also able to supply the connected consumers both in parallel to the mains and in backup power mode. The cumbersome task of replugging the consumers depending on the situation is no longer necessary.
