Anker SOLIX Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro – 2,68 kWh storage, 4 MPPT and up to 3.600 W PV input power
The Anker SOLIX Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro combines a high-performance LiFePO4 battery, an integrated bidirectional inverter, and intelligent energy management in a compact system. With four independent MPPT inputs, up to 3.600 W of PV input power, and an expandable storage capacity of up to approximately 16 kWh, it is ideally suited for high-performance balcony power plants and the efficient use of self-generated solar energy.
Anker SOLIX Solar Bank 3 E2700 Pro – use more solar power yourself
The Anker SOLIX Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro is an intelligent storage system for balcony power plants and smaller photovoltaic systems. It stores excess solar energy during the day and makes it available later for household use. This increases self-consumption and reduces the uncompensated feed-in of excess energy into the public grid.
The system combines battery storage, a solar charge controller, and a bidirectional inverter. The solar bank can therefore not only store solar power and supply it to the household, but also, with the appropriate configuration, draw energy from the grid. This enables the use of dynamic electricity tariffs: the storage system can be charged during off-peak hours and discharged during periods of higher tariffs.

Four MPPT inputs for up to 3.600 W solar power
A key feature of the Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro is its four independent MPPT inputs. These allow for the efficient operation of multiple solar modules with different orientations or varying irradiance conditions. This is particularly advantageous for balconies, garages, facades, flat roofs, or gardens where not all modules face exactly the same direction.
The maximum PV input power is 3.600 W. Depending on the wiring configuration, up to eight compatible solar modules can be connected. This makes the Solarbank 3 Pro suitable not only for classic balcony power plants with two modules, but also for significantly more powerful systems with a larger module area.
The permissible voltage, maximum input current, and suitable connection and Y-cables must be considered during planning. Before connecting multiple modules, the electrical data of the solar modules and the manufacturer's specifications must be checked.
2,68 kWh storage – flexibly expandable
The basic unit already has a storage capacity of 2,688 kWh. This allows energy generated during the day to be stored for use in the evening and at night. If the capacity is later insufficient, the system can be expanded with additional battery modules.
In combination with up to five stackable expansion batteries, a total capacity of approximately 16,1 kWh can be achieved. The Anker SOLIX BP2700 expansion battery offers the same high energy density as the base unit. Additionally, according to the manufacturer, the Solarbank 3 Pro is compatible with selected 1,6 kWh expansion batteries from the previous generation of solarbanks.
The modular design allows for gradual expansion. This makes it possible to start with a smaller storage capacity and later adapt the system to higher electricity consumption, additional solar modules, or changing requirements.
Intelligent energy management with Anker Intelligence
The Anker app allows you to monitor energy generation, battery level, charging and discharging performance, and energy flow within your home. Depending on the selected operating mode, the integrated Anker Intelligence function takes into account weather forecasts, expected energy demand, and dynamic electricity prices.
This allows the system to selectively store solar energy and charge the battery from the grid at off-peak times. When electricity prices rise or household consumption increases, the stored energy is then made available again. This can improve the energy efficiency of the storage system, especially during the months with less sunshine.
In addition to intelligent operating modes, manually configurable schedules and performance values are also available. This allows the solar bank to be adapted to different consumption profiles.
Demand-based regulation with a compatible smart meter
In conjunction with a compatible Anker smart meter, the feed-in power can be dynamically adjusted to the current electricity consumption in the building. The smart meter measures how much energy is currently being used in the household or drawn from the grid. The solar array can then regulate its output accordingly.
This ensures that the stored solar power is released as precisely as possible when there is actually a need for it in the household. This reduces the unnecessary feed-in of excess energy to the public grid. A compatible smart meter is required for fully consumption-based control and is not automatically included in every offer.
Bidirectional AC charging and dynamic electricity tariffs
The Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro features an integrated bidirectional inverter with an AC charging capacity of up to 1.200 W. In addition to storing solar power, the system can therefore also draw energy from the grid. This is particularly advantageous with variable or dynamic electricity tariffs.
The storage unit can be charged, for example, during off-peak hours at night or when electricity prices are negative. During periods of higher electricity prices, the stored energy is available for household use. The availability of individual tariff and automation functions depends on the region, the electricity provider, the app version, and the system configuration.
Long-lasting LiFePO4 battery for outdoor use
The solar panel uses long-lasting lithium iron phosphate cells. This cell chemistry is characterized by high thermal stability, a long lifespan, and high cycle stability. Anker specifies a planned product lifespan of up to 15 years and a ten-year manufacturer's warranty for the system.
With an IP65 rating, the housing is protected against dust and water jets. According to the manufacturer, the permissible operating temperature range is from -20 °C to +55 °C. This means the solar panel can generally be installed on a balcony, under a carport, in the garden, or in other suitable outdoor areas. However, a sheltered location, avoiding prolonged direct sunlight or standing water, is recommended.

Scope of delivery and required accessories
The specific contents of the package depend on the individual offer. Solar panels, smart meters, expansion batteries, Y-splitters, extension cables, mounting brackets, and other accessories are only included if they are explicitly mentioned in the product title or in the scope of delivery.
For demand-based control of the feed-in power, a compatible Anker smart meter is recommended. For systems with more than four solar modules, additional Y-cables and suitable solar cables may be required, depending on the wiring configuration.
Important information regarding connection and operation
The permissible feed-in capacity and requirements for balcony power plants vary depending on the country and grid operator. In Austria and Germany, the applicable technical connection conditions, reporting obligations, and legal power limits must be observed.
Before installation, it must be checked whether the solar modules, connectors, electrical circuit, metering system, and existing accessories are suitable for the planned system configuration. Work on the fixed electrical installation and the installation of a smart meter may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
